『世界是被幻景所支配－這，用波特萊爾的話來說，就是現代性』 - 本雅明(Walter Benjamin)

波特萊爾與本雅明筆下的巴黎, 那十九世紀的世界都城, 看似遠了,

但其陰魂仍與處在新舊異變當中的我們,  相互辯證著。

曾令他們以書寫來抵抗與沈溺的,

那些令人觸動的經驗瞬間,

那支配著世界的『幻景』依然存在, 就在我們四周。

在城市當中以一己步伐遊走的藝術家,

以閒逛者的目光, 凝視各種客體經驗, 轉化成自己的視覺語言,

製造出另一種『幻景』。

這是石頭·小洲【藝術空間＋工作室】的第一個展覽活動，

開始了澳門與其它中國地方的藝術家之間的作品交流，

感謝這次參與的藝術家，你們的作品使這個小小的空間變得更有趣，

是因為小洲特殊的地方性質，讓我們在這裏落腳，有了這個空間，

這裏面不單有創作，還有生活與自然，

讓藝術在當中有機的流動著，

偶發，延續。

This series of photographs is about physical luxury, loneliness, desire, confusion, foreordination and death. She is brimming with unknown possibilities more than I could imagine, smarter than I am, exceedingly exists beside me. A perfect poem goes, "the only reason I write is to explore myself, but who I am, is not your bussiness." This is a course of overcoming fear, and a course of enjoying death as well.

FORWARD 

On a hot and humid summer afternoon typical of Chongqing, Yang Su and I met to discuss plans for this exhibition. We wanted to begin a dialogue between visual arts students from the University of British Columbia and the Sichuan Fine Arts Institute. Although they are young artists that live in different countries and cultures, their critical thinking and artistic practice together reflect sharply on the world today. Through this dialogue and their diverse backgrounds, they strive for a genuine sense of self and to create a new space in which they can thrive.  

I would like to thank Yang Su, the members of Organ Haus Art Center and volunteers, their hard work and open minds made this exhibition possible. At the same time, I sincerely thank all the participating young artists. They braved the danger of natural disaster and traveled thousands of miles to come to Chongqing to communicate their ideas through their art. I hope that this exhibition and the journey to come can enrich their understanding of different cultures and social realities. Dialogue can spark a myriad of possibility and the potential for the creation of a fertile artistic space.

前言 

黃桷坪是一個有傳統的地方，它的傳統不同于重慶的“碼頭文化”，它是多元混雜的 “自由”及“包容”之地。這些特質，在今天重慶的城市文化中，顯得尤為特殊。黃桷坪的文化基因源於四川美術學院的藝術傳統及黃桷坪在重慶的邊緣化狀態，它是多重合力的結果。這種結果所產生的後果是迷人的，這再次印證了一個事實，思維的交匯帶來思想的自由。 

對於中國人說來，2008年肯定是極其特殊的一年，在我們經歷眾多磨難及波折時，以“人”為主體重塑價值體系，為當務之急。作為獨立藝術機構，器•Haus一直致力於藝術的傳播和實踐，當代實驗藝術在中國/重慶的實施是我們的重點，國際藝術合作項目是其中非常重要的內容，來自不同國家及文化背景的藝術家們的共同工作，是實現價值交換的重要途徑。 

我們相信藝術的價值，我們相信文化的力量，在此，我們要感謝顧雄、加拿大英屬哥倫比亞大學的青年藝術家及所有參加本次展覽的中國藝術家，感謝您們帶來的作品。您們的到來，讓我們所付出的工作，在目前的特殊時期裏顯得尤有價值。展覽只是起點，交流無處不在。

我們不再年輕，但也未曾老去。新生活即將上演，談談情，跳跳舞，梳梳洗洗，鶯歌燕舞，談天論地，讀書求學，各取所長…過去晦澀青春為哪般？  2008年  蘭

朋友的女朋友要離開我們了。他們奔忙於各大腫瘤醫院整整一年，也許五月這一切就都結束了…
